First and foremost, Joseph is one of the hardest working guys I've been around. I got to know "Joey Z" during my time working in television sports and as a marketing coordinator.
Joseph was in charge of essentially everything. From a game-day perspective: all public relations, social media, marketing, & broadcasting on top of catering anything we, the media, needed, and always with a smile. It's crazy how quickly finished up the play-by-play TV and radio broadcast, then rush down several floors to the locker room to help organize the media and interview requests.
When sports and entertainment, sports media and local news were shutting down during the height of the pandemic, Joseph found creative ways to continue pushing the IceHogs brand and connecting with fans. Whether it was through Zoom interviews with players and coaches, to reliving great moments of the past, he had a job to do and he did it well.
Joseph is organized, thoughtful, and respectful of his co-workers and colleagues. He's always trying to better himself and the work around him. I know he would be a vital member of anyone's team.
